The Serial to Fiber Converters can extend the distance of serial transmission to over 2km with the multimode optical fiber and up to 20km with the singlemode optical fiber. With their rugged design, the Serial to Fiber Converters are suitable to work in harsh industrial environments with a broad range of operating temperatures -40 degree Celsius to 85 degree Celsius supported.
